Jesus told the disciples, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”  Matthew 13:16-19

Jesus also told the disciples:  “Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you”. Luke 10:19

We as disciples of Jesus Christ have been given power and authority through binding (or forbidding) and loosing (or permitting) by using the name of Jesus Christ.  When we see anything that is out of line with the word of God and His Kingdom, and His principles we must pull it down in the name of Jesus Christ.

We begin in our own home and move outward.  We create an environment of heaven in our homes by aligning ourselves with the Word in thought, speech, and action.  We take this environment with us into our communities by preaching the Gospel and driving out the adversary everywhere we go.

If our leaders don’t embody the characteristics of the fruit of the Spirit, then we must pray for them and bind the demonic forces operating behind them that are causing them to be negatively influenced.  In the name of Jesus Christ we forbid the adversary from operating through our leaders.  We pray for just and righteous servants and leaders in the earth.
